In single races, 500- and 2,000-meter lanes, Sergei defeated the third. He had to compete with Sergei Pomogaev, a multiple world and European champion among veterans in rowing and canoeing. In the 4 × 200 relay, our canoeist has a bronze medal.
Zhodino has always been famous for its rowers, who repeatedly won the European and World Championships. This is facilitated by traditions carefully passed down from generation to generation. A striking example of the education of young athletes are the performances of veteran rowers at various international regattas.
