Human resources, construction of socially significant facilities, landscaping of Zhodino – these issues are in the focus of the Presidential Aide’s attention.
Today, as part of a working trip to Zhodino, Alexander Kohan, Assistant to the President, Inspector for the Minsk region, visited Svitanak OJSC, got acquainted with the construction of Secondary School No. 10 and the diagnostic center with an MRI office, and assessed the landscaping of the city park.
The first point of the route was Svitanak OJSC, where Alexander Kohan got acquainted with the production and samples of finished products.
– To compete in today’s market, it is necessary to keep up with the times, follow trends, and offer a sought-after assortment,” said Alexander Kohan.
And the company understands this. As explained by Yuri Lukashevich, Director of Svitanak OJSC, an analytical group has been established at the enterprise and has been successfully operating for more than one year, which conducts a detailed analysis of sales and tracks them literally in real time. As for updating the assortment, designers develop new collections about five times a year, and attention is also paid to updating the basic assortment in accordance with customer demand.
We have successfully mastered the production of sportswear at Svitanka. They are currently working here to occupy a niche in the production of workwear.
The financial and economic situation at the enterprise, the solution of production tasks facing the team, and development prospects are not ignored. And, as the Presidential aide emphasized, one of the key issues here is increasing exports.
We have established our own trading structure, a wide network of branded stores in the Russian Federation, as well as a subsidiary in Smolensk, which actively works with wholesale and retail customers.
A promising, but already successfully mastered area is the sale of products through marketplaces. And sales through these channels are planned to increase to 75-80 percent this year.
But the future of any enterprise is in young, promising personnel.
Karolina Vasilyeva has only been on Svitanka for a year. After graduating from Borisov College, it took her only a couple of months to master the nuances of the profession in practice. Today, she works alongside experienced seamstresses, completing 120 percent of the planned task. The factory is certainly interested in such specialists.
It was also explained to Alexander Kohan that those who wish can master a more promising and in-demand specialty. For this purpose, the company has organized on-the-job retraining.
But for young people, in addition to stable earnings, social protection, good working conditions and, of course, the availability of housing are important.
As explained by Alexander Tsivako, Chairman of the Zhodinsky City Executive Committee, the Nauchny-2022 Housing and Communal Services complex is about to be put into operation, where most apartments are provided for medical workers. Construction of a rental house has also begun, where, again, a significant part of the residential “squares” is provided for in-demand specialists. In the near future, we plan to build several houses for BelAZ employees in the 9th microdistrict.
An attractive urban infrastructure is no less necessary. During a visit to the city park, Alexander Tsivako told the Presidential aide about the work carried out to improve the main recreation area for citizens: fountains were reconstructed, benches and lanterns were installed, playgrounds and sports grounds were equipped, and an art space for city events was set up. And all these works were carried out at the expense of funds raised by the townspeople during the clean-up.
Alexander Kohan also got acquainted with the construction of secondary school No. 10. As Alexander Tsivako commented, the new school is designed for 930 students and will become one of the most spacious and modern educational institutions in Zhodino. The project provides for spacious and bright rooms, wide corridors designed for a large capacity, which is especially important for the full and safe movement of schoolchildren.
The building will accommodate:
A 25-meter pool with a width of 8.5 meters and a depth of 0.9 to 1.8 meters;
gym for classes and competitions;
assembly hall;
dining room with a large number of seats.
The Presidential aide stressed the importance of the facility for the young, developing neighborhood, and also outlined a problematic point – the construction time.
The next point of the route is a diagnostic center with an MRI office. The work here is proceeding as planned, and the existing financing issues will be resolved. After its opening, which is planned this year, medical care for citizens will be brought to an even more high-tech level.
Next, we summed up the work of the monitoring group of the regional executive committee, whose specialists studied the personnel situation at various enterprises of the city. As Tamara Krasovskaya, Chairman of the Committee on Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Ministry of Executive Committee, noted at the meeting, problematic issues related to recruitment and retention of personnel, work with young professionals, ensuring labor and performance discipline were considered, and possible solutions were identified.
– The city’s leadership understands the tasks correctly. I want Zhodino to become synonymous with comfort, coziness and order for everyone, as well as attract young people and motivated professionals who want to live, work and earn money here, Alexander Kohan summed up.
