Borisov meets the final stage of the sports and cultural festival “Vytoki”
Sports and cultural festival “Vytoki. Croc da Alimpu” completes its third season on August 25 and 26 in Borisov, according to the website of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
The festival will open with an introduction to the region for representatives of the republican and regional media. Journalists will take part in the historical and cultural prologue “The Bells”, organized by the male choir “All Saints” of the Cathedral in honor of All Saints in Minsk, the School of Bell Ringers of the Belarusian Orthodox Church, the Borisov diocese, the Borisov regional executive committee. The participants of the press tour will visit the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ, an architectural monument of the 19th century, get acquainted with the historical heritage and modern products presented by residents and guests of the city on the favorite square of Borisovites.
The press tour will continue at the plant of SZAO “BelGee”, where famous cars are produced.
The press tour will end with the Skibka ad Vytokau gastrofest (49 Revolution Avenue, Palace of Culture named after M. Gorky), during which there will be a presentation and tasting of the products of the enterprises of the Borisov region: Zdravushka-milk branch of the Slutsk cheese-making plant OJSC; JSC “Borisovkhlebprom”; OJSC Borisov Meat Processing Plant No. 1; JSC “Food plant “Veselovo”; LLC “CASKAD”; Unitary enterprise “Borisov combine of bakery products” of the open joint-stock company “Minskoblkhleboprodukt”; LLC “FAUNA”, etc.
On the first day of Vytokov, an educational seminar “Actual issues of training athletes and ways to solve them” will be held with the participation of specialists from BSUPC and the Higher School of Coaches, specialists from sports organizations of the Minsk region (“Borisov Arena”, 14.00-18.00). The Belarusian Olympic Academy is organizing its workshop for teachers of general secondary education and pre-school education institutions (school №8, Borisova, Stakhanovskaya, 35, 15.00-17.00). During it, the participants will get acquainted with the Olympic values and achievements of Belarusian athletes at the main starts of the four-year period.
In the park of culture and recreation. M. Gorky (Prospekt Revolyutsii, 11, 04.30 pm), an art interactive event “Play with us – draw yourself”, organized by the ArtKhaos gallery, will take place.
The theme of works in Borisov is Tsmok. Children will be able to make friends with a representative of Belarusian mythology. The drawing will be applied by a team of professional Belarusian artists, and children will be able to take part in the decoration of the surrounding area. Adults will become leaders and helpers of young creators.
The evening program of the festival opens with the performance of the National Academic Theater named after Y. Kupala “Marriage” (Revolution Avenue, 49, Palace of Culture named after M. Gorky, 19.00).
The first day will end with a screening of a famous sports tape in an open-air cinema (20.30).
The second day of the festival will open with a visit to the leadership of the NOC of Belarus, the Ministry of Sports and the Minsk Region to the sports facilities of the region (the program will be sent additionally).
On August 26, the festival will continue with the Capital of the Place competition, which will introduce you to the gastronomic features, system and rituals of the Borisov region (Central Square, 11.00). The exhibition-sale “Belarusian Brands” will present the products of Belarusian enterprises, including those developed with the participation of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (Central Square, 11.00).
At 12.40 the Olympic race starts, in which about 500 children under 9 years old will take part.
During the opening ceremony (Central Borisov Square, 13.00), the President of the NOC of Belarus is expected to present a certificate worth 100,000 Belarusian rubles to the leadership of the district for the development of physical culture and sports.
After the grand opening ceremony, a large-scale Olympic quest starts. Everyone under the age of 14 will have the opportunity to take part in sports competitions, test their abilities in various sports, complete tasks and receive valuable prizes (Central Square, from 13.00 to 17.00).
Activities will be organized at more than 30 venues in such sports as wrestling, boxing, biathlon, cycling, volleyball, basketball, athletics, shooting, weightlifting, table tennis, equestrianism, karate, ice hockey, fire and rescue sports , archery, tennis, handball, kayaking and canoeing, mini golf, break dance tournament. The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) plans to exhibit its stand.
Festival participants are waiting for other activities. In Borisov, you can take impressive photos with the legends and innovations of the Belarusian automobile industry – the racing car of the MAZ-SPORTavto team, cars that will be presented by BelAZ and SZAO BelJI.
At Vytoky, everyone can try themselves and remember their childhood at the location – “Games of our yard” (Central Square, 13.00). It is necessary to go through 5 stages of the quest – “rubber band”, “classics”, “potato”, shooting from a slingshot and others, for which you can get memorable souvenirs from the organizers.
Borisov will host the final of the regional stage of the new intellectual and educational project “Vytoki. Quiz” (Central Square, 13.30). Teams from each district of the Minsk region will take part in the competition.
The entertainment program of the festival will open on August 26 at 17.00 with a presentation of the Rodnae-Modnae clothing collections of Belarusian enterprises, designers and entrepreneurs.
This year in the cultural program “Vytokov” a new competition of the song text “Vershy Pra Galounae” is being held. The jury has already determined the winner in the Minsk region. A professional composer will write a song based on the text of the author, which will be performed at the festival.
On the main stage, the best young performers in the vocal competition will be determined (Central Square, 18.00). The laureates will receive diplomas and prizes, as well as take part in master classes by leading performers.
The festival program in Borisov will continue with an evening gala concert with the participation of popular Belarusian pop artists (Central Square, 20.00). At the end of the holiday, colorful fireworks and a disco await everyone – 23.00.
The Vytoki sports and cultural festival in 2023 has already taken place in Zhlobin, Baranovichi, Slonim, Glubokoe and Kostyukovichi.

According to the organizers, more than 206,300 thousand people took part in the festival in two years.
The largest event of the festival was the Olympic quest – 64,200 participants.
Young participants of the holiday received more than 35 thousand prizes.
The most large-scale quest was a sports competition in Rechitsa, where about 7 thousand children tried themselves in various sports.
In 2022, the show-show “Rodnae-modnae” was held at the festival. More than 20 Belarusian enterprises were able to present their products within the framework of the project.
“Vytoki” is hard to imagine without a competition for young vocalists, in which more than 550 young artists took part.
